  videotape to DVD

The introduction of DVD Video has changed the way we watch movies, that's a fact. But did you know, it has also changed the way we keep our precious family memories. Digital Versatile Disc, or DVD, is the perfect solution to your aging family keepsakes. Magnetic tapes such as VHS, VHS-C, Betamax and even digital tape formats, such as Mini-DV and Digital 8, are prone to deterioration which can lead only to the loss of irreplaceable memories. Getting your videotapes transferred to DVD will not only improve the playability of your old format movies, but will also ensure their safe keeping for many years to come.

DVD transferring can be as simple as a straight to DVD transfer, or you can choose to have your DVD look like a Hollywood movie with our DVD Authoring services. Custom menus, edited music and video footage, and digital effects can turn even the humblest home video, into a masterpiece!

Make additional copies for family and friends.
A great gift idea!

  DVD storage tip!

Although DVD's and CD's are extremely durable, they are subject to certain kinds of damage that can cause improper playback. Here are a few tips to keep your DVD and CD collection safe from harm.

Properly handle your discs. Smudges, fingerprints and especially scuffs can damage your disc. Only hold the edges of your disc. Never place your disc label side UP on any surface. In fact, always keep your disc in its case when you're not playing it. We all know that sometimes dust and fingerprints are inevitable. If you find the need to clean the recorded surface of a disc, make sure you use a 100% cotton cloth, or a wipe designed for CD and DVD surfaces. A small amount of soapy water can be used as well. Some will say that rubbing alcohol will work great. This is true, however, rubbing alcohol can cause your label to bleed, so use at your own risk.
